It’s always great when cities take their local music scenes seriously. The latest example of this is London, Ontario. The London Music Office is conducting their first ever Music Census.
They decided to conduct the census so that they can collect data to establish a baseline of figures and measure the growth year after year. This data will help the London Music Office build a case of the music sector and properly take stock of the assets that make up the city’s music scene.
With input from the community, London will have the opportunity to grow their local music scene and really have it flourish. If you live in the London area and want to participate, you can do so here.
