The Long-Awaited National Music Centre Opens in Calgary on July 1
On Canada Day, Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre will finally open its doors. Located in Calgary’s East Village, this is the first national cultural institution dedicated to celebrating all forms of Canadian music.
More than just a museum, the massive state-of-the-art facility includes five floors of exhibition space, including a huge collection of musical instruments, equipment, and artifacts spanning over 450 years of technology and innovation. It also features Canadian music memorabilia and three Canadian music halls of fame.
The opening day has free admission, but afterwards admission will be $18 for adults and $11 for children.
