Ongoing History Daily: The actor vs. Bono

Daniel Stern is probably best known as the guy who played Marv, one of the burglars in the original Home Alone. Years ago, he rented a house in Malibu and found himself neighbours with Bono.

One night, Bono kept the loud music on all night for his daughter’s birthday party. After a few hours, Steren had enough and called the cops. But when they didn’t respond fast enough, Stern decided to do something himself.

He headed over to Bono’s place and started screaming for the music to be turned down. It was not pretty and Stern admits he got pretty scary. Fortunately, the police eventually arrived and shut down the party.

Stern went home to sleep—and he probably didn’t have much to say to Bono after that.
