Random music news for Tuesday, July 4, 2023

  2. Like doomscrolling through Twitter? Elon is restricting how much we can read on the platform.
  3. Is Spotify’s next thing full-length music videos? Maybe.
  4. Streaming music platforms are raising their prices. Now Tidal is the latest.

  6. Meanwhile, the latest estimate that Tay-Tay’s current tour may gross US$1.4 billion. And that’s a conservative estimate.
  7. What’s this trend about attacking female performers onstage? This has gotta stop.
  8. The UK festival circuit is NOT in good shape.
