Respect to Barbara Streisand. Hear Me Out.

Last year, Babs released an album entitled Partners, which this week was certified as selling a million copies in the US. That is her THIRTY-FIRST platinum record, the most ever by a female artist. The only person that comes close is Reba McEntire who has nineteen.

Partners also debuted at #1 on the albums–her tenth to do so–and allows her to say that she has had a #1 album in each of the last six decades.

Add in two Oscars, five Emmys, 10 Golden Globes, eight Grammys and a Tony and–well, it’s a helluva resume, isn’t it?
