What Does Space SOUND Like? Sort of Like a Brian Eno Record from the 70s, Actually.

Yes, it’s true that in space no one can hear you scream, but that doesn’t mean sound doesn’t exist…out there.

NASA has just released recordings of electromagnetic waves created by the interactions of charged particles from the Sun and the planets. Those waves–which, if you know your physics, are just vibrations–can be interpreted as sound waves, giving them, well, sound. And they’re spooky.
