Spotify has issued another year-end report: The state of artists on the platform

As part of a continuing series of year-end posts, Spotify has some stats for artists who used the service in 2020.

More than 60,000 artists hit the milestone of having more than 100,000 monthly listeners. That’s up 42% from 2019.
6,500 artists who released music on Spotify for the first time this year hit 100,000 monthly listers. That’s up 180% form 2019.
64,000 artists were added to Spotify’s in-house playlists.
