Spotify Takes Geotargeting to a New Level

Spotify knows exactly what the weather is, no matter where you might be. To prove it, they’ve rigged up the new White Demin song to only be available for streaming in areas across the US where it’s raining. Unless the skies have opened up overhead, No Nee Ta Slode Aln” won’t be streamable.

The purpose is twofold: (1) To demonstrate Spotify’s latest geotargeting technology; and (2) to promote a new jack from The North Face. Here’s the ad featuring the song.
