The State of Digital Piracy Today [INFOGRAPHIC]
This pretty much covers it. This comes courtesy Arxan, a digital security company.
Their State of Application Security report analyzed about three-and-a-half years worth of data that looked at the distribution of pirated material on the Dark Web, .that part of the internet that is not indexed by standard search engines like Google.
There’s a lot going on down there, as you can see by the infographic. Blame it on poorly protected applications and a rapidly evolving distribution system for pirated releases. Are you not using any kind of application protection in your security approach, you’re asking for trouble. See?
