There’s a new Sex Pistol (singular) documentary

Back the 90s, Glen Matlock, the original bassist for the Sex Pistols (he was replaced by Sid Vicious for allegedly “liking The Beatles”), wrote an autobiography entitled I Was a Teenage Sex Pistols. It’s a pretty solid account about what it was like in mid-70s London when the original punk storm was gathering.

Almost a decade-and-a-half later, the memoir has been turned into a documentary. Apple TV will have it as of May 26. Expect plenty of stories about bandmates Johnny Rotten, Steve Jones, and Paul Cook, weirdo manager Malcolm McLaren, and all the other people who made the Pistols era so interesting.

Here’s a trailer.
