This is interesting: The most-streamed albums on Spotify for every year going back to 1960.

A positive thing about Spotify is how available they make some of the data they collect from users. It’s not deep-dive stuff, but it does result in videos like this. Someone has gone back to 1960 and listed the most-streamed album for every year. The numbers reflect all the streams from all the songs on each album.

Keep in mind that Spotify didn’t come online until 2008. I also wonder how many people are listening to albums front-to-back like we used to.
