Trump wants to cancel the Great American State Fair and replace all the remaining performers with…himself!
You don’t start planning for a nation’s 250th birthday a couple of weeks before the event. A bipartisan organization called America 250 was working on things for about 10 years before Trump came along and established the very Trumpy Freedom 250 as a rival. These were the people who booked the spectacularly lame Great American State Fair.
But as soon as the artists found out that this would be a Trumpy thing–he always makes things about himself, doesn’t he?–they started pulling out, claiming they had no idea that it was going to be such a partisan event. Milli Vanilli, Martina McBride, Brett Michaels, Morris Day and The Time, Young MC, C+C Music Factory, and the Commodores want nothing to do with any of this. The only two acts left were Flo Rida and Vanilla Ice. It was “a mess.”

Trump’s solution? Cancel the whole thing and replace it with a Trump rally.

Meanwhile…
