Just ahead of the start of Canadian Music Week where the industry gathers in Toronto to discuss the state of the industry, here’s a check-up on what’s happening with recorded music this week.

CD sales, -3.3%
Digital albums, -22.1%
Digital tracks, -20.3%
Vinyl LPs, +0.9%
On-demand audio streams, +13.2%

Week-over-week stats:

Total album sales, -2.0%
CD sales, +8.0%
Digital albums, -7.1%
Digital tracks, -0.3%
Vinyl LPs, -15.8%
On-demand audio streams, +1.8% (2.202 billion streams in the country last week)
