What Can Radio Learn from the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show

If you’ve been following my posts about CES, you’ll know that I’m fascinated with the kind of sophisticated infotainment systems that are beginning to appear in dashboards.  

What used to be a near-exclusive domain of radio will soon be greatly eroded as drivers gain on-demand access to all sorts of new entertainment choices.

Integration between cars and smart phones is going full steam ahead.  New head units are offering apps like streaming music services and even connections to social media services.

What does this mean for the future of radio in the car?
