If you’re a musician (or someone interested in the music industry) and you’re in the Greater Toronto Area, Jazz FM 91.1 is offering a one-day seminar on what it takes to make it in the music business today. It runs from 10am t0 5pm on Saturday, April 11. It could be the best 30 bucks you ever spend.

Topics include utilizing social media, promoting your music, getting your music online, recording on a budget, pitching your music for radio airplay, building an audience and booking performances

There will be a keynote address by New York producer, educator, and journalist Jeff Levenson, as well as panel discussions and presentations.
