American snowboard gold medal winner is having a #MeToo issue with his old drummer

Shortly after American Shaun White turned in an amazing go-for-broke run to win the gold medal in the Olympic snowboard half-pipe, an allegation from an old bandmate is causing him #MeToo anxiety.

Lena Zawaideh, the female drummer in his former band, Bad Things, is claiming that White “repeatedly sexually harassed her and forced his authoritarian management style on her for over seven years.”

Back in 2016, Zawideh filed a lawsuit, accusing White of sending “sexually explicit and graphic images to Ms Zawaideh of engorged and erect penises, forced her to watch sexually disturbing videos, including videos sexualizing human faecal matter, and made vulgar sexual remarks to her.”

There was, however, an out-of-court settlement last year.

Neither one of them is commenting on the situation.
