Billy Talent has released a single with Rivers Cuomo of Weezer

If you ask the guys in Billy Talent about their all-time favourite albums, they will point to Weezer’s blue album. Now they’ve realized a dream by having Rivers Cuomo as a featured performer on a new single entitled “End of Me.”

The song originated as something called “Hendrix + Weezer”–a working title for how the track sounded. That’s when someone had the bright idea of calling up Rivers and asking if he wanted to contribute. And lo, he did.

This will be one of ten tracks that will appear on the next Billy Talent album, Crisis of Faith, which will be out in January. Here’s the artwork and the tracklisting.

01. Forgiveness I + II
02. Reckless Paradise
03. I Beg to Differ (This Will Get Better)
04. The Wolf
05. Reactor
06. Judged
07. Hanging Out With All The Wrong People
08. End of Me (feat. Rivers Cuomo)
09. One Less Problem
10. For You
