Canada’s Top Ten Selling Vinyl Records in 2017 Were…

It was another a good year for vinyl in Canada with sales up 22% over 2016. Here are the top ten-selling titles for 2017.

  1. Ed Sheeran, Divide (4,900 copies sold)
  2. Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon (4,000)
  3. The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper (3,900; remember that it was the 50th anniversary of its release)
  4. Various, Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol. 1 (3,800)
  5. Kendrick Lamar, DAMN (3,600)
  6. Bob Marley and the Wailers, Legend (3,500)
  7. Arcade Fire, Everything Now (3,000)
  8. Various, La La Land (2,900)
  9. The Beatles, Abbey Road (2,800)
  10. Amy Winehouse, Back to Black (2,700)
