Give It Up for Grace Jones

There’s a lot to admire about singer/model/actor Grace Jones. She’s always, always approached life and her career on her own terms, everyone else be damned. I became besotted with her as far back as 1982 when she released songs like this.

She also made a killer Bond character.

And now at age 67, she continues to do things her way. Here she is performing at the AfroPunk Festival in Brooklyn this past Friday. At age 67, she has not problem performing in little more than body paint. You rock, lady.
