Here’s the first trailer for ABBA’s high-tech “abbatar” show

Earlier this year, we heard how ABBA has been working with George Lucas’ Industrial Light and Magic to create a special concert experience where the members are the group are transformed into high-tech avatars–or, as they like to say, “abbatars.”

The group spend many hours in motion-capture suits. When the show opens in a purpose-built venue next year, ABBA will appear as they did in about 1979. They won’t be there, of course. They’ll be at home counting money as their abbatars do all the work.

What will this show look like? Here’s the first trailer.
