This Isn’t Going to Help the Image of Insane Clown Posse Fans. Then Again, It Might.

The Juggalos, Insane Clown Posse’s ultra-devoted fanbase, can be an intense lot–so intense that the FBI has declared that Juggalos meet their definition of a criminal gang. (The Juggalos will protest this unfair classification with the Million Juggalo March on Washington this September. I can’t wait to see Donald Trump’s reaction.)

I’m largely sympathetic to the Juggalo Nation–I mean, it’s good to have a hobby, right–but I draw the line when things get ultra-weird like this. This is from the Kansas City Star.

A Wisconsin man has been sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison for cutting off a woman’s finger and drinking her blood in a ritual to honor a fellow fan of the Detroit rap duo Insane Clown Posse. Twenty-four-year-old Jonathan Schrap was sentenced Friday on one count of second-degree reckless injury.

A complaint says Schrap and his friends were staging a “ritualistic memorial” at his house in August to commemorate a deceased member of the Juggalos, the name given to Insane Clown Posse fans.
