Here Are Your Key Dates for the 2014 Polaris Music Prize

Spring must be here because it’s time to start debating/fighting/whinging about the Polaris Music Prize again. After being on the Grand Jury last year–a one-time-only service to the cause–I’m busted back down to the level of ordinary juror again.  Fine by me.

Here are the key dates for this year’s competition:

 

  • June 19th – Long List Announcement – National Music Centre, Calgary, AB
  • July 15th – Short List announcement – The Carlu, Toronto, ON
  • September 22nd – Polaris Music Prize  Gala – The Carlu, Toronto, ON
