The Latest Surprise Album Release Comes from Wolfmother

Surprise album releases seem to be the new thing. Bowie sort of started it back in January 2013 when he suddenly announced that he had a new record coming out. Last December, a record from Beyonce popped out with no warning. The marketing department at Warner Brothers got four days’ notice that a Skrillex album was coming earlier this month. And now we have New Crown from Wolfmother.

No heads-up, no hints, no teases. It just…appeared.
