Looking to Date a Musician? Try This App.

Being a groupie used to be hard work that required many physical, mental, spiritual and moral sacrifices to get past security, roadies, hotel staff, jealous girlfriends and protective wives to reach the target rock star.  Now, though, there’s an app for all that.  Sort of.

Tinder is a social dating app that takes your location and mashes it together with your Facebook profile to see if there are any people in your general location that would like to meet up.  This seems to be the way a lot of guys in bands are sending out feelers to see what’s available.

To make it even easier, there’s a Tumblr site called Band Dudes on Tinder which allows for easy browsing. Happy hunting.
