Looking for your musical soulmate? This app might help.

It can be really tough to be in a relationship with someone who doesn’t share your taste in music. How can you avoid those awkward moments when you realize that a potential partner really, really believes that Rick Astley is one of the greatest artists of a generation? Or that they put “I Want It That Way” from the Backstreet Boys on infinite repeat?

There is a prophylactic measure: an app called MusicTaste.space.

Just like the home page says, you log in with your Spotify account, get a code and then share it with friends to test your musical compatibility.

Hey, give it a shot. It might just be the start of a beautiful friendship.

  • Why is that “I Want It That Way” by the Backstreet Boys always seems to be stuck on repeat? I discovered that on a camping trip back in 1998, when a group beside us was playing that straight for THREE DAYS!! Hey Alan, were you at Bingeman’s around that time?😆
