Pharma Bro Douchebag Martin Shkreli is Selling his Wu-Tang Clan Album on eBay

You remember Martin Shkreli, right? He’s the pharma guy who raised the price of an AIDS drug by 5,000% before getting charged with some kind of fraud involving a hedge fund. In between all that, he emerged as the winner in an auction where Wu-Tang Clan sold off their one-copy-only album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin. Shkreli paid $2 million for that one CD.

Now, though, he’s put it up for sale on eBay. Here’s a screenshot taken this morning (September 6, 2016). Click on it if you want to see how the auction is proceeding.

  • Is there anything stopping Wu-Tang from re-releasing the album to drastically dilute the value of Shkreli’s copy? That’d be fitting for this scumbag. Maybe a special edition with 2 extra songs, call it Twice Upon a Time in Shaolin…

Was there something in the original purchase agreement that prohibited the buyer from distributing the lone copy for profit? (Suspect if anything there’s a clause to prevent mass distribution, but could be twisted to prevent him for selling the single copy at a profit.
