The Last Word on the 2016 Grammys

One last post on the 2016 Grammys and we’ll forget about them.

ITEM 1: Adele’s performance

Yes, it was off. The microphone for the piano became dislodged and fell onto the strings, resulting in a funny out-of-tune vaguely acoustic guitar-ish sound. That threw everything way out of whack.

But here’s why I love Adele. Instead of going all diva about it, she shrugged it off–and then went to In-N-Out Burger.

ITEM 2: Carrie Underwood didn’t have a very good night, either.

ITEM 3: Taylor Swift and Kanye West should just have a hammer fight and get it over with it.

ITEM 4: Thirty-four things you didn’t see on TV.

ITEM 5: Yes, Kendrick Lamar was good. And I love this: “Kendrick is what Kanye would have been if the Kardashians didn’t get him.” Here are all the performances ranked.

ITEM 6: Yes, Canadians did well.

ITEM 7: Something was weird about Taylor Swift last night. Was it the hair? (Via Tom)
