Music News

This is what we know about the new Tool album coming August 30.

I’ll just say it: unless an extinction-level asteroid hits the planet in the next few months, we are going to get a new Tool album. We even have a date, apparently: August 30. That’s what the band would have us believe with this display after a recent show.

And then there’s this Twitter post from the band itself.

A couple of songs have already been performed live over the last ten days.

And this is extremely promising: The band, which has never had any of its music on streaming music services, has created profiles for both Spotify and Apple Music.

Still, this is Tool. Anything could happen, right?
