Weekly survey: How has your media consumption habits changed with COVID-19?
It does look like the zombie apocalypse out there. Streets are empty. Businesses are closed. People are–thankfully–mostly staying at home and away from others.
Imagine if COVID-19 had hit in 2005. How would we have passed our quarantine time? There was no social media to speak of (there was MySpace, but still). No smartphones. We were still renting videos from the neighbourhood Blockbuster. Netflix was still a mail-order CD rental business.
And no iPads. Ask a parent with young kids what their life might be like these days without iPads.
My question for you this week is about how your media consumption has changed during the age of coronavirus. I realize that your answer could be “none of the above,” in which case you’re excused this week. But for everyone else, lemme know how things have changed for you.
And please retweet, okay? It’s make the “n =” number as big as possible.
Which of the following are you using more during the COVID-19 lockdown? (Please retweet, okay?)
