What are the odds of Oasis touring North and South America? Bookies weigh in

The Brits will bet on anything. One of the latest wagering opportunities is whether the Oasis reunion tour will extend to North and South America. This is a sucker’s bet because there have already been leaks that the band is planning to play Toronto, New York, Boston, Chicago, LA, Mexico City, along with Brazil and Argentina. Dates are already rumoured for Tokyo, Seoul, Perth, and Auckland.

In case you haven’t heard, this is what we think is going to happen.

  • Toronto: August 24 (with an option for a second show on the 25th) at Downsview Park
  • Chicago: August 27 (with an option for another show on the 28th) at Soldier Field
  • East Rutherford NJ: August 30 (with an option for August 31) at Met Life Stadium
  • Boston: September 2: Gilette Stadium
  • Los Angeles: September 6 (with an option for September 5): Rose Bowl
  • Mexico City: September 11 (with an option for September 12)
  • Tokyo: October 4 and 5
  • Seoul: October 10 and 11
  • Perth: November 1 and 2
  • Auckland: November 7 and 8
  • Rio De Janeiro: November 29 and 30
  • Buenos Aires: December 6 and 7

Take a look at these odds. If you look at Canada, -500 means you have to bet $500 to win $100 (plus your original $500). If you’re a betting person, I’d go for the Argentinian wager where $250 will get you another $250.
