So where are we with Linkin Park, their timers, and the Big Announcement?

The story thus far: (1) Linkin Park posted a 100-hour countdown timer that expired last week. When it hit zero, it started counting up. (2) Fans who stuck around noticed a cryptic message when the numbers hit 9:05. The band then confirmed that something would happen on 9/05 (September 5). (3) There were more developments over the long weekend when the count-up timer hit 100 hours.

First, this image appeared.

Then some audio started playing at exactly 100:00:00.

Now we have this video that confirms some kind of live stream event at 6pm EDT September 5. Whatever they have planned, it had better be good with the way they’ve been stringing fans along.
