Weekly survey: When this COVID thing is all over, at what show do you want to be in the front row for?

With four vaccines approved in both Canada and the US, it’s just a matter of time before enough people get jabbed in the arm and we can start thinking about going back to concerts like we used to. I’m not talking about socially-distanced bubble shows; I mean the real deal with people jammed up against each other.

That may not happen in 2021, but 2022? I’m optimistic. And this leads me to my weekly survey question: If you could be in the front row for any show by any artist, who would that be?

Don’t worry about where in the world this show is. And it doesn’t matter if it’s a club show and you want to be right against the stage, a concert with a seat in row A, or a festival pressed up against the barricades with crowd surfers passing overhead. Who would it be?

  • Einsturzende Neubauten after losing my chance in 2020. Really hope they make another attempt at a tour.

  • Nine Inch Nails…there would have been five Toronto shows in October if COVID hadn’t happened.

  • Parkway Drive! Their 2019 Wacken headlining show is the most excitement I’ve had watching a live show since early 2020 🇦🇺🤘
