My children’s book, The Science of Song is out today! Here are more details.

Several years ago, I was asked to help create a touring science music exhibit called The Science of Rock’n’Roll. When that wrapped up, I took much of the research and turned it into a children’s book aimed at the 8-14 year-old-crowd. It took a while to bring everything to fruition, but it’s almost ready for release.

The Science of Song was written with my wife and Nicole Mortillaro. Carl Wiens provided brilliant illustrations.

The publication date is today, September 7, 2021, so I’m starting to do some interviews. Here’s one I did with TeachingBooks, which has been sent out to 50,000 schools and libraries. (I do a short reading, too.) And here’s a review from Kirkus, which apparently is a big deal.

If you’d like to order the book, you can do that here, here, and here.
