Is Radiohead Trying to Tell Us Something with These Weird Posters?

With 20th birthday of Radiohead’s OK Computer coming up on May 21, some fans are wondering if these posters that have appeared in several cities hint at…something.

Similar postings–all with lyrics related to the song “Fitter Happier”– have shown up in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, New York and Los Angeles.  And what of this Instagram post by Radiohead collaborator Stanley Donwood?

  • Probably the usual 20th anniversary song and dance. Super duper reissue with second disc of b-sides. Ultra super duper edition with live gig from the era. Mega super duper comes with DVD of said gig and a lock of Yorke’s hair. Radiohead will either bitch that they were not consulted and the label is milking an anti-consumerist album or spout some bs about how they worked putting together the super duper deluxe editions with love and care. Cue lots of PR “viral” spreading of isolated tracks on youtube and alternate takes (that were discarded for a reason).

Fans will lap it up since 40 year olds have become just as bad as boomers.
